Friendly Paws™
As Liz and James never liked the idea of sending their own dogs to kennels, they believed many other pet owners probably felt the same. As a result, they launched Friendly Paws™, their personal house and pet sitting service in south and east Kent in 1999.
With plenty of repeat clients and new referrals, this has developed into a highly successful organisation. Particularly since Liz and James lost their last Great Dane and decided against having another one.
Instead, they now concentrate on providing a home-from-home for other people's dogs. They will look after your pets either in their own home in Broadstairs or will come and care for pets at your home.
While specialising in dogs, over the years Liz and James have looked after a wide variety of other animals from horses and donkeys to sheep as well as parrots and caged rats, chickens and cats (in their own home).
Friendly Faces™
The Organisation To Help You Move
Friendly Faces™ is a service designed to help lessen the problems involved with moving. For many people who perhaps don't have locally-based family and friends to assist with a move, using the services of Liz and James can make all the difference between a traumatic experience and a relatively hassle-free transition from one property to another.
They can help reduce the stress involved in moving by liaising with Estate Agents and solicitors on your behalf. Finding a suitable selection of properties of you to buy or rent and taking you around specific areas to check out the amenities such as shops, surgeries, vets and public transport links.
They can even arrange for your new property to be cleaned before you move in as well as organising removals and the sale/purchase of specific items or a total house clearance.
With their knowledge of local trades people, Liz and James can recommend builders, decorators, electricians, carpenters and plumbers as well as looking after your pets during your move.
There are other services available through Friendly Faces™ to help housebound clients. These include shopping, taking you to the doctor's, hospital or to visit friends and family.
